I grew up in a Christian home in Minnesota. At the age of 5, I approached my dad one Saturday about trusting Christ. He explained to me that I was a sinner and needed to trust Christ’s death on the cross for salvation. We moved to Alabama when I was going into third grade. When I was 10 years old, I was baptized and joined the local church. Since we moved back to Minnesota during my seventh grade year, I completed high school at Woodcrest Baptist Academy graduating in 2003. After graduating from high school, I attended Maranatha Baptist Bible College for my mathematics education degree. Immediately upon finishing in student teaching, the Lord opened the door for me to start teaching at Fourth in January of 2008.
