A Head Start on College

Dual Enrollment & Honors Program

2025-2026

To offer college-bound junior/senior students the opportunity to advance their education with a greater opportunity for college rigor courses and credit-earning potential while maintaining a Bible-centered philosophy of education.

Qualifications

Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA, test at the 60th percentile on achievement testing and/or score at least a 900 on their PSAT test during their sophomore or junior year.

Honors Bible courses are taught by a live teacher on the FBCS campus. New students receive an email from FBBC to set up their student account. All students must complete the FBBC FERPA form online.

Dual Credit Courses

  • New Testament Survey → replaces FBCS Bible
  • Intro to Bible Study → replaces FBCS Bible
  • Old Testament Law, History, and Poetry → replaces FBCS Bible
  • Old Testament Prophets → replaces FBCS Bible

UNWSP

University of Northwestern – St. Paul

Roseville, MN

PSEO courses are taken online and on-site at FBCS during the normal school day. Free to Minnesota PSEO-eligible students. Students must complete the NOSR form for each semester.

Dual Credit Courses

  • Historical Perspectives (HIS 1105) → replaces FBCS World History (11th grade)
  • Intro to Literature (LIT 1100, Spring) → replaces 3rd/4th Quarter English 12
  • Principles of Economics 1 (ECCO 2201) → replaces FBCS Economics

How to Sign Up

Current FBCS Sophomores / First-Time PSEO Students

  1. 1.Meet with the Guidance Counselor by Friday, May 9 to confirm eligibility and give notice of intent to apply.
  2. 2.Complete the UNW online application at unwsp.edu → Academics → PSEO & Early College Programs.
  3. 3.Create your UNW account and complete the New Student Admissions Application.
  4. 4.Complete the NOSR form — enter your parent's name/email (if under 18) and the Guidance Counselor's name/email.
  5. 5.Once approved, register for fall courses (online only).
  6. 6.By Friday, June 13, screenshot your class list and email it to the Guidance Counselor.

Continuing FBCS Honors Students

  1. 1.FBCS will assume your continuance in the Honors Program unless you notify the Guidance Counselor otherwise.
  2. 2.Watch your UNW email for the NOSR form and instructions.
  3. 3.Complete the NOSR form using your parent's and Guidance Counselor's name/email.
  4. 4.Once processed, register for fall courses when registration opens.
  5. 5.By Friday, June 13, report your registered courses to the Guidance Counselor.

New FBCS Students

  1. 1.Meet with the Guidance Counselor ASAP to confirm eligibility and give notice of intent to apply.

Costs

Faith Baptist Bible College (FBBC)

$125 per credit hour plus the cost of any books.

University of Northwestern – St. Paul (UNWSP)

Free to Minnesota PSEO-eligible students.

UNWSP — International / I-20 students

Approx. $270 per credit + technology fee + books (Early College Program rate).

International Students (I-20)

Per Minnesota Department of Education guidance, international students living in the district solely for education are not eligible for PSEO. However, UNWSP offers the same online courses through their Early College Program at a discounted rate (Fall 2025: $270/credit + technology fee + books). International students may still take FBBC Honors Bible courses on campus. Eligibility: 2.75+ GPA, junior or senior, optional UNWSP standardized testing (ACT/PreACT 18+, PSAT/SAT 940+). Non-native English speakers must submit a TOEFL score.

A Note on Credit Transfer

Parents and students are encouraged to check with their intended college or university before enrolling. It is up to the admitting institution to determine acceptance of credits from UNWSP and FBBC. Both institutions are regionally accredited; FBCS is accredited by the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS).
