FBCS is a vibrant PK–12 private Christian school serving approximately 300 students (K4–12th grade). We invite qualified candidates to join our mission of Christ-centered, academically excellent education. If we have openings for teachers, classroom aides or coaches, we will post them here.

Fourth Baptist Christian School is a vibrant PK–12 private Christian school in Plymouth, Minnesota. Enrollment for 2025-26 is approximately 300 students.

Elementary

Classroom Aide

Schedule: M-F 8:30am - 3:15pm

Qualifications

  • Be a professing Christian.
  • Be a member of Fourth Baptist Church or another church of like faith and practice.
  • Demonstrate a love for children, patience, enthusiasm, and a servant's heart.
  • Work well with teachers, students, and parents.
  • Be dependable, organized, and willing to assist wherever needed.
  • No particular educational background is required.
  • Hours are determined by availability and need. The school day is 8:30am-3:15pm.

Responsibilities

  • Working with individual students and small groups.
  • Grading assignments and preparing classroom materials.
  • Escorting students to and from specials and other school activities.
  • Supervising students during lunch, recess, and other transitions.
  • Assisting with classroom organization and daily routines.
  • Providing general support to the classroom teacher as needed.

Senior High

Art Elective Class Teacher

9th – 12th grade elective

Schedule: MWF — last hour of the school day (2:30pm - 3:15pm)

Once-a-week 3rd – 8th grade after school class optional if interested.

Qualifications

  • Be a professing Christian.
  • Be a member of Fourth Baptist Church or another church of like faith and practice.
  • Demonstrate a love for students, patience, enthusiasm, and a servant's heart.
  • Demonstrate artistic abilities
  • Exhibit good judgment, dependability, and strong classroom management skills.
  • Foster an atmosphere that is both well-ordered and welcoming.
  • An art degree is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Teach art from a biblical worldview.
  • Encourage students to develop their talents and stretch their abilities.
  • Maintain appropriate classroom order and positive student interactions.

Elementary

After School Care Aide

K4 - 6th grade students

Schedule: M - F, 3:30pm - 5:30pm

Qualifications

  • Be a professing Christian.

  • Demonstrate a love for children, patience, enthusiasm, and a servant's heart.
  • Exhibit good judgment, dependability, and strong classroom management skills.
  • Foster an atmosphere that is both well-ordered and welcoming.
  • An education degree is not required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise students in a safe, orderly, and caring environment.
  • Encourage students to use their time constructively through reading, games, homework, and other appropriate activities.
  • Maintain appropriate discipline and positive student interactions.
  • Ensure students are released only to a parent or other authorized individual.
  • Communicate with school personnel and parents as needed regarding student pickup or concerns.
  • Lock the library and secure the area after all students have been picked up and the building has been cleared.
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:30–5:30 p.m.
