Having been born into a pastor’s home, I made a profession of faith at a very early age. The Lord moved our family several times from New Hampshire to North Carolina to St. Croix, Virgin Islands, and then back to North Carolina. In 1969, my  father started a Christian school at our church in North Carolina. I have deep roots in Christian education and a passion for promoting a Christian education.

Through my teenage years, I often questioned my personal salvation. At the age of 18 as a freshman at Pensacola Christian College, I gained complete assurance of my faith in Christ Jesus as my personal Savior.  Prior to that decision, I had been studying to become a nutritionist with no real desire to serve the Lord. But God took control of my life and changed that plan. I had a new desire to minister to young people.

Upon graduation in 1989, I married my husband Don and moved to Festus, Missouri, where I began teaching preschool in the same Christian school where my husband had graduated. The following year I began teaching home economics and elementary music.  Through the years, God has given me many opportunities to teach many subjects in a variety of levels.

We moved to Plymouth, Minnesota in 2005 as a result of a job opportunity for my husband.  Our family is so grateful to God for bringing us to this church and school.

My desire as a teacher is to know that when my students leave my class they will know they are special to God and that they are prepared to serve Him in many areas.

As for God, His way is perfect.
