Kolwinska Bio

I was raised in a Christian home and was saved at the age of 13 while at summer camp. I was baptized a few weeks later. My parents are Christian school educators, so teaching has always been a part of my life. I wanted to teach so I could impact students’ lives like my teachers had influenced me. Since I loved music, I decided to pursue a degree in Music Education at Maranatha Baptist Bible College and graduated in 2001. I began teaching at FBCS in 2001. I completed my Master’s Degree in Music Education from Vandercook College of Music in Chicago in 2006. My wife and I have a 1 year old son and I love being a dad. I also participate in the music ministry at Fourth Baptist Church and am a member of the Plymouth Concert Band. My hobbies include painting, gardening, and remodeling.
