Congratulations to Senior Percussionist, Jason French, for winning the 2018 Plymouth Concert Band High School Soloist Scholarship Competition. Jason entered a recording of his double-mallet marimba solo, Marimba Flamenca, by Alice Gomez. Jason was invited to play it live before a panel of judges as a finalist in the competition, and was determined the winner. He received a $500 scholarship check played his solo as a special guest artist at the Plymouth Concert Band Spring Concert, Repercussions, on Saturday, May 5th.
Dear FBCS Families and Friends – I have created a new page on the FBCS Music Department website that has pictures and videos of our State Capitol Concert.
