The program of study at FBCS emphasizes quality work and teaching from a Christian world view. At the elementary school level, great attention is given to the basic fundamentals by experienced faculty. A strong phonetic approach with emphasis on comprehension begins at the kindergarten level and produces good readers early in their education experience. The mathematics program combines both modern and traditional systems, providing an excellent and necessary foundation for future math learning. The language arts curriculum stresses mastery of English grammar concepts and development of composition skills. History and science are taught from a Christian and creationist perspective. A Beka curriculum is primarily used in the elementary grades, with Saxon math being introduced in 4th grade.
