Academics

FBCS strives to provide the highest quality education to students from K4 to their Senior year of High School. The secondary division (junior/senior high) of Fourth Baptist Christian School builds on the solid foundation given our students in the elementary programs. The standard course of study is college preparatory in nature, offering a wide range of electives in both academic, fine arts and extracurricular areas.

The ACT average has been 25 for the last several years. Secondary core course requirements include Bible, English, Science, History and Math. Physical education is required through the Freshman year. Spanish I & II are required in senior high. Fine Arts electives include band, choir, and handbells. Other elective courses include, Computer Programming, Home Economics/Life Skills, Woodworking, Art, and Yearbook are examples of other senior high electives. In addition, students may choose to take independent online courses available through Ignitia during their elective hour.
